Galen Hubert Davis

We are so sad to hear that Dr. Davis passed away. He was my doctor for 50 years. I always looked up to him. He will be missed by us. Sympathy to his family.

Just learned today, 11-14-13, of Galen's death on visit to Mt Carmel East Medical Staff Office. As a retired surgeon who knew him well, I can only echo the thoughts of those below, many times over. Profound and belated prayers and condolences from my wife and me, Tom Vogel

Dr Davis, was a wonderful Doctor, to me more then 30 years he and Joyce, Susan, the best of friends my deepest sympathy to his family.

Dr. Davis was my doctor in 1998 when I was 25 years old until his retirement.

He helped me through many medical issues, always taking my telephone call and my unannounced visits without an appointment.

He always knew the right thing to say and the right treatment for what brought me to him.

I always felt comfortable when seeing Dr. Davis because I knew not only did I have a great doctor but somebody who personally cared about me and didnt see me just as a patient.

He will be missed.

I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Davis for many years at the Mount Carmel Health System. He was a kind and caring person. He always took the time to listen to his patients even with his stethoscope in his ears! He will be missed from the medical field. May he rest in peace.

doc davis was a wonderful dr. he cared for my family for more than 35 years and 3 generations. there will never be another like him. thank you for the care. miss you, joyce and susan terribly.

Dr. Davis was a friend, as well as my doctor. He always treated me with kindness and respect. May peace and comfort surround your family at this time.

Dr. Davis was a wonderful doctor. He took care of my father, Eugene King, for over 30 years until my father's death. Dr. Davis and Joyce were good people and will be missed. Their family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

There will NEVER be another doctor like Dr. Davis! HE was my doctor for almost 50 years and ALWAYS knew what was wrong before I could even tell him. He was also the doctor to my parents, grandparents, and my sister and her family. He was a true gentle spirit and no matter how bad I felt, as soon as I saw the faces of Joyce, Susan, and doc, I knew everything would be OK. I know he is resting in the Lord's light right along with Joyce and Susan!

Galen and I grew up together in Pennsville. He was one year ahead of me at dear olde Penn High. Talked to Doc just before he went into Nursing Facility. Soo sorry for your loss.

Dr Davis was a wonderful friend and Doctor
to my mother, Monique Devine. He helped me through her death in 2010. My deepest sympathy to his family.
