We were so saddened to hear of Garnet's death. Please know that we are thinking of you and praying for you.

Although our relationship with Garnet and Delores was through our sister (Betty Jones (Macdonald)), we do remember a stunningly beautiful and accomplished family who held a very special place in her life. Liana and Cameron - you have a proud and shining legacy from your parents to share with your children, and Paulette - though we have never met - we know you will find comfort in memories of your years of happiness with a kind, thoughtful, sensitive and generous man. Our deepest sympathies to you all.

Dear Paulette, Liana and Cameron:

How sad we were to hear of Garnet's passing. He was such a wonderful man and a good neighbour to our dad on Greenfield Drive. Dad greatly enjoyed many wonderful conversations over a glass of scotch.

Unfortunately none of our family were in Regina to attend the funeral this week, but we will all remember Garnet with fondness, for his passion for music and love of life and family.
