I just spoke about Garry this afternoon at lunch. I knew him in the '70s at Insight Inc. before he decided to make his leap into medicine. He shared that with me and my husband Ron. Garry introduced Ron and I to a special meal we ordered at a Flint Michigan restaurant. I lost track of him as we went in different directions. He told us about a favorite meal he liked. It was omelet and spaghetti. It wasn't on the menu. Today he came into my memory as I ate with my family at an Italian restaurant in Florida. He was such an impressive man. I am sorry for your loss. You can be assured you will be with him in heaven. Love never dies.

Peggy and family, My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family on the loss of this wonderful man. Dr. Bundy was a great doctor, and a joy to work with. I admired his skill and compassion so much that he was always my choice for an anesthesiologist when I had surgery. I always loved working with him because he always had a new joke or story to tell us. He treated his patients and co-workers with professionalism and a truly caring heart. I am so glad I was able to work with him at Bay Med. He will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Peggy & Family

I was sad to hear the news. It's been over ten years since Garry and I ran into each other at the Bay City hockey rink. Garry greeted me with a hug after all the years past with such kind words which is what I needed at the time, and he knew it. Garry is and will always remain a wonderful soul and dear friend.

Without fail, every time I needed Dr Bundy for a laboring mother, he came into the room and asked "Is this a boy or a girl causing all this trouble?" He always made his patients feel safe and well cared for, and made the staff feel at ease knowing they had the best at their side. Our little hospital will never be the same without his big presence, voice and heart. Thanks to his family for sharing Dr Bundy with our hospital family.

Peggy,
I was so sad to read of Garry's passing in this morning's paper. I did not realize that he had been ill and wish that I could have been of some support to both of you at the time. Garry and I became friends shortly after we hired in together in 1972 at Hurley Medical Center. Though we went our separate ways when he began medical school, we were pleased to find each other again at Bay Medical Center where we would chat occasionally and catch up on each others lives. I also experienced him as a valued and respected member of the BMC medical staff and the surgical team. He was obviously, above all, a caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Please be aware of my deepest sympathy for your loss and the sadness you are experiencing. You and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers.
