Thanks for taking the pitch fork to the pigs when I wandered into the pig pen at the age of 2 or 3. You saved my life. You were always helping out people in what ever way you could. Thanks big brother for giving me a job with your tank building crew. It gave me work experience at a young age and the money was good to have too! You left before your time. You will be missed.

A big brother, a friend, a boss, a co-worker and a colleague in business. Garry you taught me so much and I will miss your wit, your smile and your sense of humour.
I enjoyed very much our talks of politics, money and business, and the oil patch.
You were most generous with your time and patience and Kokanee.
Cheers bro

So sorry to hear about Garry. He was a great person and accomplished so much in his life. He mentored so many that his skills will carry on. The tanks and oil field facilities he built will serve as reminder of his great work. I am sure he has put his name on many pieces of steel and when someone works on them in 50 or 100 years they will read his name and he will live on in the great work he did.

You are one of the best things that have ever happened to me Boss! Thank you so much for being there. There's nothing in this world that I reach for or try to achieve that doesn't have your finger prints on it. You are my inspiration, and influence, my mentor, my friend. Thank you so much. It hurts knowing that I won't be able to spend another late night with you yapping about what ever with you. But knowing all the boys that learned, got there first chance and looked up to you are there and right beside me is an amazing achievement that will never disappear. There are so many lives that are so vibrant that you played such a role in. Kohlman, you'll be greatly missed but also greatly remembered.
