Ah - so sad to see this! I was looking through my "Rolodex" at the names of people I had worked with at UCLA Extension and saw Gary's - remembered how kind, encouraging and helpful he was when I was teaching there...now curious to see what had happened to him since we last spoke, years ago.
So sad to see that he's gone - and at a very young age. He was a very important person for me at UCLA, always someone I could go to for answers and aid.
RIP my friend. See you next life!

WOW. Just wow. I just found this information out. Gary was/is a great guy and enjoyed all of my times with my cousin Gary in greater Boston, MA and Los Angeles, CA.

Wonderful words for our beloved Gary, thank you. It's how we remember him. Gary lit up the room upon entry. Laughter and unsurpassed wit abounded. He also had a gift for composing hilarious comedic and cutting-edge jingles. Keep on dancing, singing, creating, and jesting our cosmic cousin. More love from another of the 38.

A piece of my heart is gone, but I will hold tight to our memories through our letters, texts, and pictures. I miss our weekly calls that left me in tears of laughter. I hope you're dancing with Donna Summer in heaven! Love you so...cousin Cindy
