Vera, Carol and I are heartbroken at the loss of Gary. His persona will live on globally as he touched so many people's lives. I'm struggling to find the correct words to describe a man of such integrity and virtue. He brought smiles to so many people and a lot of the time he wasn't even trying!
Our thoughts and prayers to you and Family

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Gary's passing. Gary will always be remembered as an extremely charismatic personality who was impossible to not notice. He was a natural leader. He was very kind and giving. He commanded the room. It was no surprise to me that he served his country admirably for 20 years. You are a hero and a patriot. May you Rest In Peace my friend.

So sad to hear. Back in our school days Gary was always a kind kid. He certainly had a big heart. I am so glad to have seen him again at our class reunion, and to have been his friend on Facebook. God bless, Gary.
