Funeral services for Gary Dale Cox, 49, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor Randy Sadler officiating. He passed away early Wednesday morning, September 14, 2011, in Wills Point. Gary was born July 28, 1962, in Henrietta, Texas, the son of Harvey D. Cox and Maggie Mary Calhoun Cox. He was raised in Mesquite. On April 18, 1983, he married Colleen King in Wills Point. Gary was a self-employed electrician in Dallas. He enjoyed fishing and sketching. He loved his family very much and his dog, Charlie Brown. Gary lived in Mesquite prior to moving to Wills Point thirty-four years ago. He attended the New Frontier Cowboy Church in Wills Point. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Randy Cox and a sister, Diana White. Gary is survived by his wife, Colleen Cox, of Wills Point; son, Justin Cox & wife, Erin, of Mexia; two daughters, Laci Cox & Ryan Stamp, of Wills Point and Amber Cox, of Mesquite; brother, James Warren & wife, Pat, of Sentinel, Oklahoma; sister, Kathy Wood & husband, Stan, of Wills Point; sister-in-law, Shannon Cox, of Wills Point; four grandchildren, Trevor Cox, Natalie Gonzalez, Brittany Gonzalez and Valerie Gonzalez and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday afternoon from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
