Wow this is hard to believe, I just found out about Gary´s passing yesterday. All my thoughts and prayers are with the family.
My family and the Finch´s went camping at Huntington Lake almost every summer as we were growing up. So many memories with Gary and his brother John. Water skiing, riding bikes, then motorcycles and later cruising Chester Avenue on the weekends.
He was a great guy with a big heart and I am so sorry we lost touch in the late 70´s.
He is missed in my heart!

Too many memories to list! But reflecting back on our friendships his smile and wonderful positive personality comes shining through! What a happy feeling I get remembering all our adventures we shared growing up. I know I´ll never find again such a wonderful group of friends that included Gary! Much love to all the family!

I lived down the street from the Finches when I graduated nursing school in 1975. I also went to south high with Gary. The Finches and Gary were always so sweet and I am heartbroken for all of them. I´m sending you all my love and sincere condolences!!

I remember Gary as being kind and happy. It is fitting that he is smiling in this photo. So glad that he knew the Lord. My sincere condolences to his family.

Gary was a good friend in high school where we shared our love of wrestling. He always had a smile and was friendly. I´m saddened to hear of his passing and send my condolences to his family, especially Jack, Bettie and John.

Dang. Gary Finch was one of my very best friends from about 1967 on. We did everything together. Rode bikes, played football, learned to play the guitar, made friends with girls...waterskied at Lake Ming. Grew our hair long, made friends with girls. Played rugby. Made friends with girls. He was a trusted and great, great friend. His parents, Jack and Betty were like my second parents and his brother John, was the older brother that I never had. I have been going over memories of me, and Gary, and David Robinson since I heard of Gary's passing, today. Good memories....no, great memories. Rest In Peace my good, good friend.

As a childhood friend of the Finch family I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Gary. We shared many summers camping and water skiing at Huntington Lake together with 2 other families. They are wonderful memories , Gary was incredibly special.
My love and deepest sympathy to Jack, Betty, John and the rest of the family.
