Gary Joseph Garrison, aged 78, peacefully passed away on October 22, 2023, in Valley Springs, CA. He was born on November 13, 1944, in Hawaii. Gary was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and proud great-grandfather.

Known for his kindness, honesty, and strong family values, Gary was a man of integrity and humility. He possessed a warm heart and a gentle sense of humor that brought joy to all who knew him. Gary's dedication to his loved ones was unwavering, and his presence will be deeply missed.

In his earlier years, Gary served his country with honor and distinction as a member of the Marine Corps. His time in the military instilled in him a deep sense of duty and discipline, qualities that he carried with him throughout his life.

After his military service, Gary embarked on a career that spanned over two decades at Unocal Refinery. He also worked as a truck driver, navigating the roads with skill and dedication. His strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family were evident in all that he did.

When he wasn't busy with work, Gary found solace and joy in spending time with his family. He treasured every moment shared with his loved ones and created lasting memories through simple yet meaningful activities. Gary's love and devotion to his family were unwavering, and he leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished.

Gary is survived by his beloved furbaby Sally, sisters Judy, Sharon, Dutches, and Donna, brothers Doug, Ronnie, and Dennis, children Katie (Andrew), Andrew (Casey), Marissa, grandchildren Arlene (Jessica), Peter, Raquel (Henry), Mercedes, and Gage (Ashley), as well as 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Muriel Cavallo, father Gerald Garrison, sister Brenda, brother Jerry, daughter Suzette, and furbaby Shorty.

A funeral service to honor Gary's life will be held on November 17th at 11 am at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, located at 1965 Reliez Valley Rd, Lafayette, CA 94549. The ceremony will be conducted by the dedicated staff of Queen of Heaven Cemetery, who have been entrusted to assist the family during this difficult time.

Gary Joseph Garrison will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever remain in our hearts, and his legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire us all. May he rest in eternal peace.
