Dad, I'm so grateful that The Lord saw to it that you would be my earthly father. I'm so grateful for all the memories we have. I'm so grateful that you are no longer suffering not just from being sick, but being heartbroken after mama's passing. God, I know that hurt you deeply. I'm so glad that death isn't the end for us, but it's actually the beginning for our eternity with our Heavenly Father, Creator and God. We were your answered prayer. Literally. We would not be here if it wasn't for your prayers that you and mama would have children after several tries. That's God's mercy and Divine plan! I love you dad. I'm so sorry it had to be this way. But I trust Jesus. No matter what. His plans are good. We will meet again in glory! Until then, love you for eternity - Butterball Turkey (as you loved to call me)

Had the pleasure of working with Gary on several projects. Two specialties come to mind. The first is a mural my father Alan requested to be painted in a windowless office. Let's say it transformed the space to an oasis. The second commission is a restoration of a "ghosted" image on an historic building, the Selle Generator Works in Akron. Gary showed me a quick sketch of his plan he had drawn on a scrap of paper. We were standing in the parking lot looking at the high gable end of a four story building. Gary hopped in a lift and brought it to life. Amazing God given talent. May you rest in peace with the Lord Gary.

When we were younger his family lived across the street from my grandma. Most memories I have of him,he painted a scroll for the holidays for the Archwood bar,my in-laws owned it then. Great guy. RIP Gary. Rity

I should've visited you while I had the chance, Uncle Gary. It breaks my heart to know that you've passed on! But, at least you're in heaven now and that's all that matters.
