One of my Alpine Family has passed on. I had the extreme pleasure of working with Gary Kincaid II for many years at Alpine and Prudhoe Bay. On a personal note, Gary spoke so highly of his wife Carol. He loved her beyond words. He once told me that he loved that he and Carol had the best conversations. He had a fabulous Santa suit and many times would play Santa at our Alpine Gift Exchanges. He also bought many Old Time Santa's for Carol that were made by our friend Debbie Sullivan. Debbie would send her Santa's to Alpine to be sold at the Christmas Bazaars. Gary was a big supporter of small businesses. Gary would also bring many treasures that Carol would hand make and sell them at the Christmas Bazaars. Gary was `one of the good guys´. RIP my friend.

Tim Confer, Gary's Cousin

Gary and I are cousins. I am two years older than Gary and we grew up together until I moved to Pennsylvania when I was 16. Back then we called him Bugs. I'm not sure where we came up with the name but he has always been and will always be Bugs to me. I have many wonderful memories of the fun we had together. I only saw Bugs a couple of times since moving from Alaska but the memories are still there. I will miss him. May God grant him peace, rest and relief from the pain he suffered.

I worked with Gary at Soldotna Police and on the slope. Both were always happy experiences. A gentle voice and a smile. I know it was a hard battle. My condolences to all family and friends.

Gary was a incredible man and good friend we worked together many years on narcotic investigations on the Kenai Peninsula and other joint criminal investigations. We shared a lot of good times and laughs together After we both retired from police work we again worked together on the North Slope where we had offices next to each other and shared many years of smiles and challenges. I will miss you my friend
