Kelly, Ben and Cooper,
I have known Gary for many years having taught with him at the Ford training center years ago. We have shared many stories(most of them funny) from those times over the years as we had kept in touch. Just before I retired last year Gary came by and we had a good discussion about those past good times. I am so glad we had that time to talk. Our prayers are with you as you go through this tough tough time.

Kelly, Ben, & Cooper - we will always remember Gary's kindness, always willing/offering to help others in the neighborhood. Some of my fondest memories were of him either working in the yard, sawing something in the driveway or working on a car in the garage early in the morning....keep his memory alive by remembering and sharing your memories of him. Very sorry for your loss. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Kelly, Ben & Cooper, We really hit the jackpot with our triangle of neighbors on Foothills: Lang, Purvis, Dostie & Connaughton. Without a doubt, Gary was always the most chill guy around. I remember one time when water was flooding out our sprinkler system where John was digging for the pool. Ken B & Glenn were already helping when one of the guys yelled "Gary just pulled up - someone get him!" He hurried over with a big grin on his face "Now what happened, John?" He helped John with countless household mishaps and repairs! Always the "go to guy" who was never bothered by anyone asking him for help. We'll never forget his kind, humble nature and the big smile on his face when he brought a cool vehicle home for the weekend. We are so very sorry for your loss. May all the wonderful stories about Gary give you comfort ❤ Love & Prayers, John, Katie, Catherine & Caroline

Great memories of a friend and co worker. It was my privilege to know Gary and Kelly. In my now 40 years in the auto service industry I will say he was the best technician and shop foreman I have known. I remember a time when I was having a card party Gary mentioned he would stop by and say hello, when I arrived at the lodge Gary was sitting on the roof. Typical!
Love and respect, rest in peace

I remember the smile and great attitude he always had too as well as being one of the best at what he did. Gary was a great help and partner, (as well as a friend) in growing the business in the early days of Bob Hastings Ford. I was happy that he had the opportunity to advance his career in Michigan and help many others and do the best for his family
