Gary Charles Lodwig

Gary C. Lodwig, 74, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018. Per his wishes he will be cremated with services at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Gary was born on November 21, 1943 to Edward and Bernice (Bruhn) Lodwig in Davenport, Iowa. He served proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Gary was a good man with a great sense of humor who was always telling jokes. He was helpful to everyone and kind hearted. He loved to draw comics and pass them out at family get-togethers. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. Survivors include his children: Sean (Renee Izer) Palmer of Davenport, Jason Lodwig of Buffalo, and Tamara (Ryan Soucie) Lodwig of Davenport; and grandsons: Justin, Jayden, Lyam and Alan. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
