Doreen, I am so sorry for lose. Gary was a great guy and cared for his community so much. He adored you so, just remember he is with you always and helping you get through his absence for his journey. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Gary was a wonderful neighbor for the 15 years we have been in Loves Park. He constantly looked out for our neighborhood and cared for his neighbors. So many times when I would be outside with my little children, he would saunter over and encourage me in raising them right. He enjoyed talking to me and my kids and was always glad when we met up. I will miss him greatly.

We have been praying for you daily, Doreen. I can't imagine how hard this is for you. Your neighbors love you and care very much about you!! Please tell us what you need and you know we'll be there!

Gary was a great person. I remember him from my days at Rockford Memorial. He always had an ear to listen, and good advice. When he and Doreen started dating, I'd never seen either of them happier. Doreen, I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. I'm sorry I won't be there to support you at this time, but if you decide you need a vacation, contact me on facebook and come for a vacation at my new home in Puerto Penasco Mexico (after 1/22/16). I'd love to see you and give you a chance to enjoy the ocean, sand and sun. May God bring you comfort and strength. <3
