Please accept my sympathy to the family and friends of Gary. I worked with him at Scan Optics out of Toronto. My thoughts are with you all.

Jen and family,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother, Gary. I feel fortunate to have spoken with him so frequently in the recent past. He was a man who cared very deeply for his entire family and would have done anything for them. His concern for Jennifer and her children was with total dedication and love. Gary had a lot of wisdom and personal strength to get through even the toughest times in life. Even though I didn't know him very well, I will miss the opportunity to be able to speak to him again. God's blessings to Gary and his family.

So sorry to hear about Gary. I knew him when he was married to my cousin Nora. Ricky was just a little boy then. I'm sorry for your loss Ricky - you had two wonderful parents.

Gary will be remembered by his former sales colleagues at Scan-Optics as someone with a quick sense of humor and enjoyable to be around. We experienced some great memories with Gary during many sales club trips and meetings. His memory will stay with us as we recount those experiences that we shared with Gary. Our family extends condolences and prayers to the Burke family.

Gary and I worked closely together for many years at Scan-Optics. He has been a dear friend and we stayed in touch, even after both of us left Scan-Optics. It has been a few years since I saw him, but we stayed in contact by phone, on a regular basis. I will greatly miss him and our conversations. The world has lost a wonderful person and one of my best friends.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Eric & his family, along with his sister. I know he loved you all, tremendously.

To my brother and confidant-
Gary, I have this void in my life now that no one else can fill. I know no other human being like you. You are knowledgable in so many areas and have been my sounding board and advisor. Because of the age difference between us we were strangers for so many years but I'm so very thankful that in the last few years of your brief life we have become close siblings. I respect and appreciate you and will NEVER forget you. It's comforting that you knew Jesus as your Saviour and that I'll see you again someday. Thank you for watching out for your little sister. I love you Gary. Until we meet again... Jen
THE BROKEN CHORD
We little knew that morning
That God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly;
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories
Your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.
