Janet and family - I was shocked to hear of Gary's passing. I just found out from a mutual friend this afternoon.

My heart goes out to all your family. I will always remember the good times we had when the kids were growing up...the horse races, Magic Mountain, Disneyland, playing cards till all hours in the morning.

I'm sorry I didn't do a better job of staying in touch after Don's death. I thought of you often.

My prayers are with you.

Janet, Gary JR, Angie and family. Nothing will ever fill the space that Gary has left us with.
After selling the homes that J&G and Son built for the last 15 to 20 years, I was treated more as a friend, not just a realtor. Gary would do anything for anyone and never want anything in return. His character said it all.
The one thing I marvel at is with all the people he built homes for, most all of them became his friend. Not many builders can say that.
Gary, I am one person that will miss you, but you will always be remembered. Rest In Pease.

Cousins Jeff, Jami, Don, Gloria have many happy memories as kids with Gary, especially as we gathered at Grandparents Ernest and Mabel Hill's home in Puyallup for Sunday dinner. After eating the good food prepared by Mom Ruby, Aunt Elnora, Aunt Bea, Aunt Pearl, Grandma Hill, we ran to the big front lawn and played baseball, football, tag, climbed in the Snowball tree and other kid stuff. The ages were spanned, but Gary matched them all with his athletic ability. Another happy place was Gary's childhood home on Fox Island. Swimming in the saltwater Cove, turning over rocks looking for crabs, walking to the end of the Spit to see the "infamous" Octopus that lurked there, rowing the homemade raft, finding sand dollars and the list goes on and on. Uncle Vernon Hill captured on film a family outing
(1947?) that to this day we enjoy watching young Gary at the beach.
When Gary became a husband and father he gave his wife, children, grandchildren the love, devotion and attention so they, too, have a "memory bank" filled with "deposits" of fun, learning, guidance, humor, that only someone as special as Gary could give, and those will never be withdrawn. As big brother to Ginny, Gary's builder skills were priceless as he built her house on Anderson Is. She knew no one could do it more professionally. Janet, Angie, Nicholas, GaryJr., Christine, Jordy, Shelby, Brittany, Ginny, may God give you the Peace that passes all understanding. God bless you all. Cousin Gloria

"MY HEART IS HEAVY TODAY" I grew up with Gary,on Fox Island. We did everything together.Worked on our cars, got in trouble with our parents, for doing stupid things.Water Skied every summer, everywhere.Gary was a great skier.
Although,we didn't see much of each other, after I went in the Navy.I always thought of Gary and Janet, and the times we spent together.
My Condolences to Janet, and all of Gary's Loving Family...
