Gary E. Pasternak, 59, of Ocean City, NJ, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013. Born in Weiton, WV, he was formerly of Moorestown, NJ moving to Ocean City in 2001. Gary was an active alumni with the University of Dayton in Ohio where he graduated from with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was currently working as an Electrical Engineer for Campbell's Soup for the past 25 years. Gary was a devoted dad and was active with First Night in Ocean City. He loved the Ocean City Beach and Boardwalk.
Surviving are his wife, Beth Pasternak (nee Madison), NJ, a son, Brian Pasternak, a daughter, Lauren Pasternak all of Ocean City, NJ, a brother, Gregory Pasternak and his wife Linda of Pittsburgh, PA.
His Funeral Service and Interment were private at the convenience of his family. The family suggests those who desire send memorial contributions to The Gary E. Pasternak Memorial Fund, c/o Athletic Department at The University of Dayton, Attn: Brian Tracy, 300 College Park, Dayton, OH 45469-1230 (phone 937-229-3999). I met Gary when I began working at Campbell Soup. Besides working at the company Gary was an avid real estate developer in Ocean city. He was also smart enough to move out of the stock market and in to real estate. So any time you visit oc, nj you are likely driving past a duplex that he had built. Besides all that Gary had a great sense of humor and looked more like 40 than 60. He will be missed

So sorry to learn of Gary's passing. I knew him from his early career days at Owens Corning Fiberglas and he was very helpful to us in the credit union with his knowledge of security. Always, always a very nice and respectful person. May God bring peace to his wife and family.
