Gary Pemberton Obituary
Gary E. Pemberton, 77, born in Rainelle West VA and raised in Brooklyn Park MD, died on Tuesday, April 26th, 2016 at home. Mr. Pemberton was born November 18th, 1938 in Rainelle West VA to the late Eva and Rush Pemberton. Mr. Pemberton worked as an accountant for the State of Maryland retiring in 1996 after many years of service. He graduated from Brooklyn Park Sr. High School in 1957. He is a member of the Glen Burnie Masonic Lodge #213 where he served as Past Master in 1981. Mr. Pemberton was a part of the Boumi Temple and played in the Shiner Highlanders Group. He was a part of the Maryland National Guard and Army Reserves from the late 50's to mid 60's. His hobbies included woodworking and coaching at the Harundale Little League in the late 60's to early 70's. Mr. Pemberton is survived by his loving and devoted wife Janice Pemberton of 59 years, sons Gary Pemberton Jr. and his wife Kelli of Alexandria, VA, Mark Pemberton of Arbutus, daughter Karen Frank and husband Wesley of Glen Burnie, and 3 grandchildren, Kensey, Mark Jr. and Sara.
