Dear Peggy, The memorial service to celebrate Gary's life was just lovely. While I didn't have the opportunity to know Gary personally, I felt I knew him from the service. And truly, his life was an inspiration to me. He leaves behind people who know, love, respect and miss him. He was a blessing to others and he was faithful to his Lord. That is a blessed life. And I know you were a blessing to each other.

We were so blessed to have known Gary through our small group fellowship. He was an impressive soldier for Christ and his relationship with God and his compassion for his fellow man were an inspiration to all who came in contact with him. He faced his final days with courage and an upbeat manner. He will be greatly missed by all.
