Gary Smith Obituary
Midlothian, VA - Smith, Gary Lee of Midlothian, Virginia died on October 1, 2018, at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Edie; two daughters, Lisa Rae Smith, Lori Smith Bandy; two grandsons, Alic Rae and Nicholas Lee Bandy; great-granddaughter, Nora Isabel Soloria Bandy; and two brothers, Monte and Gregory Smith. Gary was a CPA, graduated from Duke University and received his MBA from NYC College. He retired from VSRS. He enjoyed playing golf and hunting. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Bon Air Presbyterian Church, 9201 W. Huguenot Rd., North Chesterfield, VA 23235. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Parkinson's foundation at https://www.parkinson.org/.

So sorry to learn that Gary has gone on. We were roommates at Duke our senior year. He was a good and loyal friend. I regret that I have not stayed in better touxh over the intervening 60 years. God bless his family. Bob Clayton
