I was sorry and surprised to hear of Gary's passing. I didn't know he'd been sick. I knew him from the old "Flamin' Oh's" days. In fact Gary, Julie G. and I were roommates for awhile. I laughed when I saw his cats listed as survivors, because he had a couple Manx back then that he dearly loved. He was a great musician, and though he and I often had "differences of opinion", I'll miss him. I sent all my photo albums to Robert W. after Joseph B. died. Now I wish I had some of those pictures from different places they played. I remember some wild pics from the Red Carpet club in St. Cloud. Those were some fun times! Though I didn't know his family, I send my sympathies and love to his wife and children, as well as his extended family and friends.

I'm Sophie and Sam's friend and I've known Gary for all of my life. Gary played in my dad Robert's band the Flamin'Oh's. My dad liked to watch boxing with Gary every Saturday. I went over to his house almost every weekend to play with Sophie.I'll miss Gary.

I am sure he was a good person. I never new him personally. I am sorry to Anne, Sophie, and Sam. It must of been very hard for you guys to loose your husband/father. I know a few of the band members from the Flamin O's and have had the experience to see gary play bass. it was a huge loss, I am sure gary struggled for months. it is a shame what happened to him, but he will forever be in a happy place.

to Anne, Sophie, and Sam you have the rest of your lives ahead of you, and in your hearts and memories Gary will still be with you forever.
