Gary Tollefson

It's been 10 years and according to my own experience, decades only help to cope with the grief and sorrow of the loss.
I'm sending sincere symphaty to all his family members and friends.

Please accept my belated condolences; I just heard and my heart sank on this news : I had the chance to work with him in CNS group (1993 - 1997/ Turkey) and honored by his accepting my invitation as a speaker at a major congress in Turkey, Istanbul.
I shall always remember him by his wise comments, practical solutions and cool attitude.

Thank you to everyone who has left an entry in my dad's Guestbook. Hearing your wonderful memories of my dad makes things a little easier. He was the most incredible, dedicated and loving father. He was my best friend. I miss him.

My sympathy goes out to Gary's family. I had the pleasure of working with Gary at Eil Lilly. He was truly a brilliant scientist driven by a compassion for patients suffering from psychiatric disorders with a focus on making their lives better. He will truly be missed.

A brilliant man, and a great father as well.I had the privilege of working with Gary`s daughter, Elizabeth. If Gary`s work
ethic and compassion as a human being is anything like either of his daughters, then i can see why he is so loved and admired.

My deepest sympathy to the Tollefson family. Gary and I were colleagues at St. Paul-Ramsey and he provided consultation to our patients at the Family Medicine Center. He was an outstanding clinician, scientist and person.

Our deepest sympathy to Dr. Gary's family. We have been praying for them, are doing so especially on this day of his funeral. May God grant him eternal rest and console his family at this time of grief.

My deepest sympathies to Gary's family. Gary and I were friends growing up in Faribault, Mn. I'm not at all surprised to hear of his significant accomplishments and contributions to humanity. He will be missed and long remembered. My prayers and thoughts to his family and extensive network of friends.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the death of Dr.Tollefson. He was my doctor when I was a patient at the St.Paul-Ramsey inpatient and outpatient departments. He was a very good doctor and I'm sure a good person as well. He helped me to recover from depression and anxiety which I now know can be overcome with therapy and psychiatric medications. I am well, in part, due to having Dr.Tollefson as one of my physicians back about 20 years ago. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones who were so lucky to know him well.

My deepest sympathy to the Tollefson family. I remember my cousin, Gary, from his early childhood days - always an achiever then and how profound his accomplishments have been through the years. God bless!

What an amazing man with so very many accomplishments that helped others lead a fullfilling life. I too went to school with Gary in Faribault. He will be sadly missed by friends, family and the many who he has helped over a much too short, but very productive lifetime. Prayers to his family. God Bless.

My deepest sympathy to the Tollefsons. I knew Gary growing up in Faribault, My brother Bryan was a close friend of Gary's and he recently lost his wife to Cancer as well. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
