Gary Uhle Ulferts, age 71, passed away on November 25, 2023, in Morgan Hill, California. He was born on January 23, 1952, in Worthington, Minnesota, to Gaylord and Lorraine Ulferts. Gary was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and beloved great-grandfather.

Gary was a man of unwavering faith and his kind and generous nature touched the lives of all who knew him. He believed in the power of unconditional love, forgiveness, and the guiding hand of God. A pillar of strength, he exemplified the virtues of compassion and selflessness. Gary's warm and loving spirit brought joy to all those around him.

Throughout his life, Gary found great joy and fulfillment in the love and companionship of his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Lydia Moore, with whom he shared many beautiful years. Additionally, he leaves behind his brother, Greg Ulferts, and sister-in-law, Sue. Gary will be remembered as a devoted father to his children, Rayma Hathorn (Cedric), Morgan Ulferts (Ika), Lannea Spence (Jason), Tiffany Lopez (Mario), as well as his step-children Shannyn Moore, Kellie Ortiz (Sonny), and Christopher Moore (Stacey).

He also treasured his great-grandchildren, Adrian, Giovanni, Jayden, and Savannah. He was preceded in death by his father, Gaylord, mother, Lorraine, and brother, Grant.

Gary was a graduate of Andrew Hill High School, Class of 1970, where he formed lifelong friendships and made lasting memories. He went on to establish his own successful General Contracting company, specializing in concrete. His dedication and craftsmanship were admired by all who worked with him.

In his leisure time, Gary enjoyed the thrill of horse racing. His uncanny ability to select winning horses brought excitement and joy to those who shared his passion. True to his compassionate nature, Gary selflessly donated all his winnings to various charitable organizations, supporting causes close to his heart.

I just found out of Gary's passing. I worked with Gary for over 20 years as his insurance broker and adored him. He was kind, encouraging and his love for his family was ever present. I know he will be missed dearly.

Gary was my husband for thirty - three years. My life will never be the same. He was my stronghold, my kindred spirit, and a gift from God. He brought so much joy to everyone´s life. Gary was the most kind-hearted, giving person I have ever known. His warm smile could light up a room. His humor was infectious, and his love for family, and friends, was unconditional. You will forever be in my heart, my love, and I will honor your legacy of love to all that come into my life. Bask in the everlasting arms of Jesus. Love from me, your wife, Lydia. Till we are reunited in Heaven. I love you always.
