Gavin CHEFFINS

Hello Mr and Mrs Cheffins, Bill Hills here, Jesse's dad. I had meant to send a card, but am now living in Vancouver, and am not sure of your address. As you know I liked Gavin a great deal and will always remember him fondly, I will never forget how he met me on the street that day long ago and we talked, and laughed about "the old days". His last words to me were, "I'm going to be all right Mr Hills, say hi to Jesse".
I will never forget him, and I hope you are all well and happy now, so many years later.

I still choke up a little after all these years. You were a good guy Gavin.

I came across this entry while looking for someone else. I didn't realize you had lost a son. I'm so very sorry to learn this, and from one Mother to another, I know that you must miss him EVERY day. My heart goes out to you and your family.
