Gavin MILLAR Obituary
Jim, Anne and Malcolm would like to thank all relatives, friends and
neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy, beautiful flowers and huge support received following the sad loss of Gavin. Special thanks to everyone at The Margaret Kerr Unit, for their excellent care. Thanks also to the Reverend Stewart McPherson for his comforting service and to Thomas Brown & Sons, Funeral Directors for their marvellous professional care. Thank you also to everyone who attended the memorial service, at Jedburgh Old and Trinity Parish Church and to those who gave so generously to the collection, raising £2369, which will be divided between The Margaret Kerr Unit and Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust.
The donations from the "Just Giving Page" will be forwarded to The Margaret Kerr Unit.

Going to NFU meetings with Gavin we would talk about his life in the army looking after the horse and some of the pranks he got up to. Also we would talk about the farm and his future ambitions. If I didn't see him for a while he would phone me and ask how I was getting on. I think he was concerned because of my age.
Gavin was one of the best and we will all miss his charming banter
