My heart goes out to Lauren and the girls. The world has truly lost a bright light. Gavin always had a way of making a person smile and laugh with his infectious energy.

I was shocked when I heard this week of Gavin's passing, and my heart goes out to his wife and daughters, as well as Clay and his entire family. Gavin was the younger brother of my classmate and prom date. I remember Gavin as an adorable, elfin little guy with an infectious grin. I'm truly sorry to hear the news. I also pray that the manner in which he celebrated life in over-abundance (as it does seem from the obituary I just read) has helped create memories of him for his family and daughters that will be enjoyed for the rest of their lifetimes.

Our mutual friend Jace Byars just informed me of Gavin's passing and I am deeply saddened to hear of his far to early departure from this world. I just pray the God watches over the family and sends his angels to watch over his wonderful family. You will be missed Gavin.
