Praise the Lord Gene is home; no more pain, no more sorrow! I was out of town on business this week and I'm sorry we couldn't make it to the funeral. The good news, we'll see Bro. Gene again! Ms. Frances, may God give you a double portion of comfort and blessing during this time! Our prayers are with you and your family.

Jerry & I are so saddened from hearing of the passing of a special, wonderful great man. We loved Gene and highly respected him as he was a man of honor and great integrity. When we went to Southwinds Baptist Church, we interacted with Gene and grew to love him as a Godly, fair and good man. I know he left a great legacy to all of his family. Jerry & I are looking to reuniting with him in heaven one day. Until then, may God grant his family peace and comfort. God bless

Such sadness I feel at the loss of this wonderful man. It was a great day when you married Frances and became a member of our family of cousins. We all looked up to you and thought you were so handsome. You were that and so much more with that big heart and forever smile on your face. Amazing grace....Thoughts and prayers to the family....

I have very fond memories of Gene. He was one of the kindest man that I have known. It seems there was always a smile on his face.

Nothing but good memories Uncle Gene!! Lord comfort and keep ya Aunt Francis. Y'all were always good to me! ❤
