Gene was my boss, advisor and dear friend for decades. He had a consistent ability to beat me in tennis. Moreover, Gene was a man of great love and kindness to others. I am so grateful for our relationship. God bless Janet and his family as they move forward without this dear man.

I was so privileged to work with Dr. Kelly at Coliseum Hospital. He took such great care of his patients,I always knew if he was the anesthesiologist, his patients were in great hands. He always had a smile and sweet conversation for the nurses. My deepest sympathy.

What a beautiful man. Dr. Gene and Janet welcomed me with open arms into their home over and over again when growing up in Macon. Dr. Gene spent hours ice skating backwards to teach me to ice skate forwards at the Macon Coliseum. Dr. Gene and Janet allowed me to go on youth trips with Marion at VBC in Macon. ....such great times with my childhood buddy. Dr. Gene introduced my husband to James Dobson and his many books and we have read them all. Dr. Gene was certainly God's servant sharing God's love !
