Sharon, We are so sorry to see that Gene has passed away. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. It is hard to believe that so much time has passed since we started with South Central Bell. It has been nearly 50 years since Michael Jay would walk to our trailer to see our bird. Tell him hello. You both have our sympathy.

Sharon, Bernard and I are grieving with you as you say goodbye to Gene. Wish we were there to hug you but we are down south.

Sharon, my heart breaks for you! I'm sure that Gene and Richard are reminiscing about the old days. They both lived life to the fullest and I hope that you can find some solace in that.

Sherry & family - we are so sorry for your loss of Gene/dad/grandpa. What a character! He lived life to the fullest! May your many happy memories bring you comfort.

I know Gene will be missed by so many. I always had respect for him as my manager in the middle 70s. His sweet wife, Sharon, was a friend a long time before I knew Gene. God bless you and your family as you begin this journey without him. He was loved.
