Generosa (Rios) Ramirez, 86, of Union, N.J., passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011, in Overlook Medical Center, Summit, N.J. Born in Puerto Rico, Mrs. Ramirez came to the U.S. and Newark, N.J., in 1955, and resided in Irvington, N.J., before moving to Union in 1997. Mrs. Ramirez was the beloved wife of the late Jose Ramirez; devoted mother of Mirta Munoz and her husband, Luis, Carmen Santana, Jose A. Ramirez, Efraim Ramirez, Jose L. Ramirez, and William Ramirez; loving sister of Ines Perez, Juana Candelario, Teresa, Benita, Raymond, and Eugenio Rios, Blanca Rios, the late Hilario, Maria, and Nelida; cherished grandmother of 13, and great-grandmother of 17.
