I had the wonderful privilege of seeing Geneviève when she was at Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, years ago. I went backstage to speak to her. I complimented her on her wonderful performance. I shall never forget her kind remark back to me, "Vous êtes très gentil."
