NEW CUMBERLAND - Genevieve C. "Jeanne" Menapace, 78, of New Cumberland and formerly of Silver Spring, Md., passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2009.
She was born in Kulpmont, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Koons) Dulovich. She was married to Edwin J. Menapace who preceded her in death.
She was a member of St. Camillus Catholic Church, Silver Spring.
She was known and will be missed by countless other children who all called our "Grammy". She embraced and cared for all who entered her home with a smile and/or joke.
She is survived by two daughters, Michele E. Menapace and husband Alan Haskel of Alexandria, Va. and Marie C. Menapace of Silver Spring; two sons, Michael C. and wife Nancie of Camp Hill and Martin J. and wife Traci of New Cumberland; one sister, Mary Dulovich of Mount Carmel; and seven grandchildren.
There will be a viewing from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. today at the Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 2 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, with the Rev. James E. Lease as celebrant.
Burial will take place at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, Md.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation, One East Wacker Drive, Suite 2810, Chicago, IL 60601.

I was so sad to hear of Jeanne's passing....I worked with her for several years, many years ago. She was so young at heart and we loved her here at Paley Rothman. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, her family.
