Geoffrey L. Clarkson.
Ad man, car nut, and lifelong guitar lover, died in Greenwich, CT., on April 15, 2025, at age 79. Born in New York and raised in Riverside, CT, where he had "the perfect childhood."
A cheerful student, he attended Tiny Tots, Greenwich Country Day School, Choate, the University of North Carolina, and Case Western Reserve. After a short stint in Ohio, he spent his career at Ted Bates Advertising and Greenfield Consulting Group.

Predeceased by his parents, James and Bernice Clarkson, and his brother, James Clarkson III. He is survived by his wife, Muffy, his children, Geoff Jr (Carrie), Tracy, Josh (Bridget), and his three grandchildren, Kiori, Makane, and Emma.
A proud member of Riverside Yacht Club, he was guided by an unswerving sense of decency and an optimistic search for a strong and steady wind.
