Geoffrey SMITH

SMITH, Geoffrey Edwards, 86 a longtime resident of Tampa passed away April 17, 2016 at home. Geoffrey was born in Tampa and was pre- deceased by his wife of 63 years, Myra May. Geoffrey is survived by his children, Randall Edwards (Beverly), Linda Diane Stringfellow (Wally), Lee Alan (Kimberlee), Gary Wilson (Renae), Larry Harmon (Keren), 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Geoffrey graduated from Plant High School in 1947 and later the University of Florida with a degree from the college of Architecture in Building construction. Geoffrey served in Korea with the U.S. Army. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church Citrus Park. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21 from 5:00 - 8:00p.m. @ Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carroll-wood Chapel (3207 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa, FL 33618). The funeral will be held Friday, April 22, 1:00p m at the same location.
