Uncle George I will miss your lonesome baritone voice. That sparkle in your eyes when you got ready to tell a story or joke. But, I do know in my heart I will see you again. Sitting on the right hand of God with my dad..

I was glad to see that George's wonderful sense of humor survives in his eldest son. George's death must be devastating for the family. He was a wonderful man. Take care.

My mind is overwhelmed with grief, but my heart is overjoyed and thankful that God chose you to be my brother-in-law. Your love, support, wit, jokes, and caring nature filled a space in my heart that cannot be replaced.

Some of my earliest memories are of my dad telling us stories of he and Uncle George, and I knew then that my uncle was the type of person who was always loved and cherished. I will miss his laugh, sense of humor and his big bear hugs (as my daughter would say). We are richer for having known you.

I did not work directly with George at RTA but knew him. He seemed to always have a good attitude when I would see him at events or in the halls.. Always greeted everyone. Loved his voice!!! Condolences to his family. May God be with you all at this difficult time.

I didn't know George Abram, but I do know his sister Drema Brown. Through her he seemed to be a wonderful person and the big brother everyone would love to have. The LORD will help the family with the pain of their loss and soon put the smiles back on your faces and happiness back in your hearts.

He will forever be known as GA (said with a deeep baritone voice), which is how I greeted him with a smile for more than 40 years.....I know he is smiling in Heaven making the clouds rumble with his deep rich voice

Working with George on the Obertin Race Relations Committee picnics was a privilege and a pleasure. He was truly one of the great men I have met in my life. I doubt that anyone ever did more for their community then George did. And he was involved with doing good works his entire life. We all owe him a debt of gratitude and he has always had our love. My heart goes out to all his family and friends.

As a child growing up in Lorain, I can still hear his laugh and how it always brought a smile to my face.
