I was so shocked and sorry to hear about George. Georgene and family please accept my condolences. He was a great person and a great friend. He taught so many of us the skills that we are using today in our careers. He definitely made a difference in this world.

George and I were good friends during our time at Grainger High School. He was always a super nice guy to be acquainted with and always had something to share with you. We have all lost a good friend and I am sure his family is proud of all of his accomplishments. I pray God will continue to bless his family each day....

A great friend from way back. had a nice dinner together 5 days before his death. I can not get him out of my mind!

I worked with George for about 10 years aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. He was a class act, he never complained about his assignments, and he was one of the best techs that worked form me. It is with great sadness that I received the news of his passing. May he rest in peace, and may God bless and comfort his family during this difficult time.

George was my instructor, my mentor, and my friend. My deepest condolences to the family.

I just found out from a mutual old co worker. I'm sorry to hear what happened. My deepest condolences to George's family. I knew George through work back in 2003, 2004 at NMCI Camp Lejeune. He was a good worker, had integrity and strong character. He was a caring co worker. He will be missed.

This comes as such a shock to me. George and I have been friends for many many years and have worked together for the past 8 or 9! I have been in touch with him several times in the last month. He will truly be missed. Fine Person!

George you were a miracle worker. You helped in to learn to write programs in Fortran. I thank you for your assistance in helping me and all the other students to become successful in technology jobs and to become confident in what we were doing.

Our friendship began at Grainger High School back in the '60's. Although we didn't maintain a close relationship throughout the years we would always take time to talk every time we saw each other. Not enough good can be said about George.
