ALEXANDER, SSG George T. Alexan-der Jr, 34, a resident of 909 2nd Avenue South, Clanton, Alabama, United States Army 1ST Battalion 31st Infantry, Iraq, died on Saturday, October 22, 2005, as a result of inju-ries received by a roadside bomb North of Baghdad while serving in Operation Iraqui Freedom. Funeral Services with full Military Honors will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2005, at 1:00PM, from the Union Mis-sionary Baptist Church, Clanton, Alabama, with Rev. Melvin Hunter Officiating Minister/Pastor. Burial will follow in Agee Memorial Gar-den, Clanton, Alabama. Hillside Mortuary Clanton Directing. Cher-ishing his precious memories are, a wife, Fina Alexander, Killeen, Texas; one daughter, Alexandria Alexan-der, San Antonio, Texas; mother, Ann Spence, Clanton, Alabama; fathers, Joseph Spence, Clanton, Alabama and George T. Alexander (June), St. Louis, Missouri; two sis-ters, Sasha (Jerome) and Jorica, both of Clanton, Alabama; one un-cle, David Gunn, Columbus, Geor-gia; one grandmother, Veda Gunn, Clanton, Alabama; two nieces, Ja-liyah and Janae, both of Clanton, Alabama; father-in-law, (Retired CSM) Ernest G. Graham and moth-er-in-law, Rudy D. Graham both of Killeen Texas; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
