EDNA O HIPNER

Our precious mother was born on Feb, 3rd, 1925 in Copco, Ca. to Grace & Elmer Denney. She left us peacefully on the morning of April 11, 2013. She was at home surrounded by family. We are at peace with her now being at home with Jesus.
Mom is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Hipner, daughters, Velma Woolley (Mike deceased) of Sherwood, Or., Barbara Evans (Jim) of Yakima, Wa., Dorthy Hatfield (Lonnie) of Yakima, Wa and Lois Richmond (Ron deceased) of Cathlamet, Wa . Surviving are 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren (two deceased), and two great great grandchildren. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Mom loved children. The laughter and watching them play.
Mom was employed at various time at Libby's, Gilbert Warehouse, Ormiston, Evans and Clasens. She retired early in order to care for her mother.
Mom's passions was making beautiful dresses for her girls when they were young. She loved quilting, crocheting, canning and most recently NASCAR.
Our mother was a Christian woman who lived with Christian values. She was very compassionate and caring of others. She was much like our grandmother Grace, who found humor and laughter at most anything. She was soft spoken, but she had a voice when she really wanted to be heard.
Many thanks to her caregivers Hope Dominguez and Rosie for their patience and loving gentle care. Her physician Dr. Carl Olden and his assistant Kit at Pacific Crest Medicine. Services are graveside Tues. at 2 pm at West Hills Cemetery.
