Mary and kids: Somehow I missed the notice. Just want to let you know that you will be in my prayers. George has been on my mind many times, as have all of my friends in Bridger. I was blessed to have known George.

Mary and Family, We are very sorry what we couldn't make it to the services. I guess you could say that we met you both in a strange sort of way, but dialysis united us with many good friends. George was such a great, humble, non-complaining guy and never had anything bad to say about anybody. We are going to miss him and we know you will also. But always remember you will meet again and, Mary, that will help you get through this. God bless you all and give you strength. You have been in our thoughts and prayers.

Al & I will miss Uncle George greatly! I have great memories growing up visiting Uncle George and
Grandma & Grandpa Althoff in Bridger. Uncle George taught us to swim in the big ditch in the dryland after hoeing beets in the hot summer sun. George use to roll his own cigarettes and my sister, Bev and I use to make a whole fresh can of tobacco into cigarettes for him. Not knowing that they would dry up before he could smoke them all. So, patiently he would undue all those cigarettes and put the tobacco back into the can. He never complained about two young girls always following him or just bugging him with dumb questions. Uncle George was the best uncle.
