Dear Edna & family,
I was very sorry to hear that George had passed. I have great memories of our visits when you came to the warehouse. I'm sure George will be missed greatly. Just wanted you to know I was thinking about you.

Edna and Family, I too worked with George at Pacific 66 with Toby and OJ and the rest. We were in the business to move rail cars and we did. Also we got to get dressed up for the fancy Xmas parties, not long ago I came across one of those pictures.
Edna, I know that you will miss George like we both miss Aunt Leona.
My thoughts will be with you on Saturday...

When I signed on with Pacific Petroleums in 1968, the traffic department consisted of George, Jimmy McGinn and me. Al Roth joined our group shortly after I did. We worked hard but we sure had fun. George gave us the rates and we moved the cars.
George truly loved his family and spoke of them frequently and I know he will be missed by all.
I am sorry for your loss Edna, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

As a young buck I worked beside George at Pacific 66 and Petro Canada. George the Railroad rate person taught me how to read and interpert rates tariffs....Also he had me file all the tariff updates as sometimes taking hours a day to do...We laughed as it was not a fun job to do. I also curled with George, played poker with him and had many a cocktail with him. I will continue to think of the times we had. My thoughts go out to all his family.
Regards,
Jim (OJ) Moffatt
