George Patrick Bailer, Jr., 77, passed away after a lengthy illness on July 26, 2024, at Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT. Born on March 3, 1947, in New Rochelle, NY he was the cherished son of the late Ethel and George Bailer, Sr.

He was a proud member of the American Legion in Mamaroneck where he had many friends. Known for his deep love of cars, especially Corvettes, George often enjoyed car shows and long drives to Lake George and the Outer Banks, relishing the lake or beach with friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John and Paul in Larchmont, NY, on Wednesday, August 14th at 10 AM, followed by interment at Beechwood Cemetery. A celebration of his life will follow at the American Legion in Mamaroneck, NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of George's dedication and service.
