Of South Park, on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, age 69. Beloved husband for 47 years of Nancy (Scheirer) Basara; loving father of Julie L. Basara; brother of Thelma Chafin (Jim) and the late Rudy "Sonny" Basara; brother-in-law of Nancy Basara. Visitation Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the DAVID J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library, where the Funeral Service will be Saturday at 8:00 p.m.

just got the word today (april 20th) of Ike's passing.
he was such a great example of a godly man in our youth at gastonville mehtodist church. chris and i remember his friendliness and honesty. may god grant you all his peace. rudy and chris mayak

Julie and Nancy, Words are not adequate for a loss like this. Ike was one of a kind, a devoted husband, loving father and great friend who loved the Lord and walked in His ways. What a testimony. I'm so sorry for your loss.

George was my cousin, and we shared the same name. I am glad that we did. He was a good and kind man who worked hard to provide a nice life for his family that he loved. My deepest sympahties on losing him at such a young age.
