George Boudreault

George Henri Boudreault, 98 years of age, passed away on April 17, 2025. George was born on December 24th to Louis Ludovic Boudreault and Rose Anna Jean in Pointe-au-Pic, Québec. George was married to Rita Lapointe and had three children: Andre, Carole, and Manon. George was predeceased by his wife Rita and his sisters Albertine, Elianne, Antoinette, Claire, Jeannine and his brother Léopold and his son Andre. He is survived by his siblings Cécile and Aline and his daughters Carole (Michael Johnson) and Manon (Bret Biggers) and his grandchildren Michael Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Kristen Gray, Brandon Boudreault, Adrien Boudreault, Evan Biggers and Avery Biggers. George was a fifty-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and worked many long hours to keep the power on for the city of Detroit during race riots and in severe storms. George will be remembered for his hard work and getting the job done. In his retirement, he could be found exploring Florida waters riding his skidoo and visiting Canada in the summers. A celebration of life will be held with family in Canada at a later date.
