Mr. George E. Bove

Pyliss Bove and Family,
I was very saddenend to hear of Georges passing. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
I retired from the Allen Park Police Department a few years after George. I had the priviledge of working on the same shift with him for many years. George was one of the finest supervisors I ever worked with.

My deepest sympathy is with the Bove family. My husband, Frank Lafferty, who passed away in March, 2011, had worked with George in the police department, and he had nothing but praise for his former boss. In fact, I have never heard anything but praise for George. He was a class act and will be sorely missed by everyone.

Our deepest condolences to the Bove family. We enjoyed celebrating happy occasions with Phyllis, George, Karen, Neil, Alyah, Harley, Jayden and Bob.

We are proud to have shared our three grandchildren with George and Phyllis. George was a truly inspirational person who showed his determination and his work ethic even in his later years. As a member of "America's Greatest Generation" he will be sorely missed. We know that Phyllis, George Jr., Rose, Bob, Karen, and their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren will take comfort in his memory and that he will continue to live through them. We are happy to have shared family occasions and dinners and will fondly remember George and his courage, spirit and strong will. May his memory be a blessing.

We are proud to have shared our grandchildren with George and Phyllis. George was such a strong example for all of us with his hard work efforts and dedication. Even in his later years, despite his many health issues he was ever present to be with his family and we enjoyed our dinners together and being part of the family. A member of "America's Greatest Generation" he will be sorely missed but we know that his memory will forever be a blessing and he will live on through the family he truly loved. May Phyllis, George Jr., Rose, Bob and Karen and their spouses, children and grandchildren take comfort in knowing what a really great man he was.
