BURKE, III, GEORGE E. - 53
McLeansville,NC - Apostle George E. Burke, III, passed away on December 30, 2014 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC. He was a graduate of Buchholz High School, class of 1979. Apostle Burke worked for more than 20 years in correctional facilities.
He is survived by - wife: Crystal Burke, McLeansville, NC; son: George E. Burke, IV, Gainesville, FL; Willie (Jackie) Gent Sr., McArthur (Charon) Burke Jr., and Joseph Burke, Jacqueline Cunningham, all of Gainesville, FL
Memorial Services for Apostle Burke will be held 12:00pm, Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Jerusalem Church of God by Faith, Minister Duane Gainey, Assoc. Pastor, Pastor John Allen, Jr. of Communion Ministries International, Orlando, FL, Officiating.

Sorry to here about George. I remember It seems like yeterday George, Bobby and Gary and I used to play basketball at Metcalfe or Howard Bishop and then would go to my house and play the drums to Shaft Superfly and Scorpio 45s. You will be missed my friend
