George a good man, and a good friend. I'm glad to have known him for the years that I did.

SSG. George A. Coe was my Platoon Sergeant at Ft. Bragg, NC C. Co. 1/505 PIR 82nd Div. George was not only the best leader I served under, but he was my best friend while I was stationed there. So many memories. My heart is broken to learn of Georges passing, yet I think back and have so many fond memories. Till we meet again my friend, may Gods Blessings be with Wanda in this time of sadness.

I did not know that Mrs Coe was named Adelia! We always called them AJ and Della! What a beautiful name!

I grew up next door to the Coe family and have so very many fond memories of them! Jim was close to my age but I loved the whole family. I remember they always had a huge box of peaches on their back porch and we could take one any time! We all played together, my older sisters and I with them. Jan was close to Cathy's age. Rest in Heavenly Peace my dear friend. Til we meet again.

I am truly sorry to learn that George passed away. I know his strong faith and trust that he is with God and Jesus. It is still hard to say goodbye. May his friends and family be comforted, strengthened and blessed by God.
