while I never met George, I did have the pleasure of meeting Mrs Cole. when I was in the 4th and 5th grade in Corona Elementary. I was a tutor for Mrs. Cole and man, it was the best fun i had while on vacations being able to join Mrs. Cole. I learned how to use a computer and how to do badges for other students. I tried searching for her and I'm sadden that this is what I found. rest in peace to Mr. Cole. and Mrs Cole if you ever read this, this is Omar. from many many many years ago. thank you for allowing me to be a tutor for you.

George and I met in the early 2000's on the redistricting commission. I was proud of the work we did together even though the results were not immediate. I was honored to be his friend.

I can almost not write about George without saying "George and Judi." How I love them both. In my life they are the bedrock and anchor that made it possible for me to survive single parenthood. I owe so much of my life as it is today to their support at the hardest of times. So many beautiful memories. So much love.
