Dear Mrs. C.,
David and I were greatly saddened to learn of Mr. C.'s passing. I will never forget how, when we interviewed with you both to rent our first apartment, we were approved by your male Doberman who walked over and gently laid his head in my lap. We spent a wonderful 5 years as your tenants. And when I ran out of gas near the Heineberg bridge on my way to pick David up from work, Mr. C. drove me and the children back home, then picked up David and brought a gas can so he could get enough gas to drive the car to the gas station. Those are but two of the memories of you both that we will always treasure. You were wonderful landlords to a newly married couple just starting out. God bless you, Donna Russell

To the family of George,
I used to go to his fathers place on lower Church Street when I went to Burlington Junior High in around 1967. And George would be there on occasion subbing for his father. I would always order the same thing, two burgers, and 1 hot dog with the works. And If I didn't order that Charlie would ask me "Whats the matter boy you sick? And I would say I didn't have enough money for my typical meal and he would give me the full order anyway. You have no idea how that made me feel.
After Charlie passed on I would frequent George's business "A LOT" in Colchester. My best friend had built a Volkswagen trike and I would drive his son and daughter there from Cambridge to have hamburgs, hot dogs during their summer school vacation. He was into motorcycling (BMW's) as I was All types of bikes mostly Harleys) so we would chat about bikes off and on.
I'm soon to be 66 now and I really miss George's father and George, and his wife and his daughters who used to work at their business.
Nothing but great memories.
My condolence's to the family and friends.
The Best To All Of You,
Dave Sweeney

To Mrs Costopoulos , Aleta, Mark, Donna and the rest of the family.
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Costopoulos passing away and he will be very missed.
George was a very nice man and I will never forget the kindness expressed by your family the day my dad died suddenly in 1974.
The world is poorer without your dad and husband, but heaven is richer.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you at this time.
