It is hard to believe that it has been a year since your Dad's passing. I think of all of you often, and can see vividly in my mind Jerry's smile and his caring ways. May the hope of heaven be wrapped around you like a warm blanket, take care.

Jerry helped me through my roofing years in the 60's; what a relief to walk out of his office without the knott in my back! He also was an influance in my decision to move to Namao in 1989 where we shared a bottle or two of wine and was a very helpfull neighbour. Many fond memories.

Jerry was not only an amazing chiropractor, but a mentor and truly one of the smartest men I have had the privilege to know. You will be missed…

And I also know that to raise the awesome people that you all are - he had to be an amazing Dad! My heart goes out to you now as I cannot imagine how difficult his sudden passing has been. So glad that you have eachother, your own beautiful families, and your extended family to get through this together. Through all of you - your Dad's memory will live on.
I was hoping to be in Edmonton on Wednesday to pay my respects but I unfortunately cannot make it - - so please know that I wish I could be there and that I'll be thinking of you.

I am a second generation client of his, my mother was his patient early on and I have known him all me life. No matter how far away I lived or how long between appointments he always made room for me and always remembered my parents. When my mother passed Dr. Cotter had nothing but positive memories of her to share with me. He will be missed greatly!!

Laurie, Steven, Cara, and Laura; to try and say in words how much Jerry will be missed and how much he was loved by us is impossible. We have been forever touched by his gifts of love, friendship, healing and true wisdom. Take comfort in knowing each of us will forever carry a bit of Jerry with us. The world again has lost another one of it's friends. I started going to see Dr. Cotter in the late 60's. Little did I know that those first meetings would eventually become a life long friendship. Gerry even mentioned to me that, if not for one other man, I had the longest patient history over all. Your quick wit and gentle touch will be sadly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. We will both remember Dr. Cotter as a genuinely wonderful person who cared about others.

Wendy, I am so shocked to hear about Jerry. We were at the lake yesterday, and my brother commented that Jerry's lot was still for sale. I said I had not heard from you for a long time. I remember the Cotter family with fondness, and I am thinking of you. Carmen (Barbeau) Emmott
