I was stationed with JR in Barnegat Light. He always had a positive attitude, never down. He would bring out the good in people. Although we served only for a short time together he gave a lasting impression. RIP my friend.

It's still unreal to think JR is gone. I am so thankful I got the chance to know you during your time in NJ. I think about you often and pray that your family finds comfort in such a tragic situation. You were such a fun, charasmatic, kind person. This world is truly going to miss you JR.

It's hard to put my feelings into words. I still can't come to believe my friend is gone. From the 5th grade through college very few memories lack his presence. Few people in life experience a friendship, a bond, a brotherhood such as ours. The four of us, JR, me, Nate, and Zach were inseparable living life to the fullest. We shared so many good times, too many to recount. It seems like just yesterday we were riding dirt bikes in the clay pits, camping in Falls Chase, and riding around town in the infamous Raider. People often talk about the good old days, for me those are the days we spent together growing up. I thank you for your friendship and sharing so much of our lives together. Though our paths have now separated, JR will always be in my heart and a part of who I am. I am a better person for having known him.
Goodbye my brother.

JR has been and always will be a big part of some of our family's best memories. From his youth to his adult years, JR was a close friend with my son Zach and daughter Layla.. As children grow older, they get busy with family and careers. If only they were still just down the road .. A bike ride away. Miss your friendly smile. Peace be with his entire family and friends.

I remember JR as a fun-loving 10 year old, dirt biking around our neighborhood in Leon County. We spent many happy afternoons playing Atari and roaming the countryside. RIP, friend.- Andrea Cellini

As children I have very fond memories of my time spent with JR. My time spent with family on our trips to Florida will always be remembered. As we grew up we grew apart but recently had the opportunity to reconnect and I was looking forward to getting to meet his beautiful family. I am so incredibly sorry for their loss.
